I am an experienced driver who has driven for over 20 years on different vehicles (from milk floats to cars to coaches). I have held a PCV licence for 15 years and worked for a national holiday coach company for 9 of those years. I have been a driving instructor for over 10 years. Terms & conditions

Welcome and conduct
I will try to avoid physical contact with a client, except in an emergency or in the normal course of greeting
Whilst reserving the right to decide against giving tuition, I will not act in any way which contravenes legislation or discrimination
I will not mislead the public over services provided, in particular my qualifications and the likely cost of lessons which will be necessary to reach the standard required by the DSA test.
I will take all reasonable care, using skill diligence, in instructing clients in all relevant aspects  of traffic and driver education. 
I will not discuss with other students matters that a pupil has disclosed during a lesson.
I will ensure that any vehicle driven or used for training is maintained in good mechanical order and condition, is properly insured and taxed and, where appropriate, certified as roadworthy.
I will endeavour to resolve all complaints.

Terms and conditions
The instructor shall provide the pupil with driving tuition at the current rate per hour (as confirmed in first driving lesson confirmation message)
The driving test lesson is a minimum of 2 hours charged at the agreed rate.
Payment for tuition should be made by card, online payment or cash
All matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons shall be subject to agreement between the instructor and pupil.
The instructor and pupil shall have the right to rearrange any appointment to a time convenient to both parties if the instructor or pupil is not available for some reason, however should pupils give less than 48 hours notice for this change the lesson will be charged at the agreed rate.
Cancellations will only be accepted via telephone or online message
The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the tuition car for the day of the test if in their opinion the candidate is below the required standard.
The tuition car is a 'no smoking' area, including electronic cigarettes.
All personal infirmation will be stored securely and destroyed when not required.

I am now back holding in-car lessons, as per DVSA guidance.

I am still running Zoom sessions online

I am responding to all queries online.

In order to safeguard myself and other pupils i follow this routine... 
I ask that you contact me to advise of any symptoms or contact with others with Covid or similar conditions
I will message you to say i am at the meeting point and meet you at the car
 I will wear a mask if you'd prefer and ask you to make your own choice
I will continue to clean the car after lessons and at the end of each day

* please note all new students from 01/10/21 will start a program of 100 hours of tuition. The number of hours of tuition required will be reassessed every 10 hours and can include private tuition if documented.
